Ontario Long Course Championship

Burlington Aquatic Devilrays was represented by 15 swimmers at the Ontario Junior Long Course Provincial championships in London July 2 -5th. The results were very pleasing according to Head Coach, Sergei Soloukhin. Three swimmers brought home the gold in their events:
Congratulations to Lindsay Delmar (16) Lindsay won the 100m Butterfly in a new Ontario Provincial record time (15-17 Female) of 1:01.06. The previous time was set by Kristin Topham in 1991 and it was 1:01.18 as well as the 200m Freestyle in 2:03.82.
Taylor Cameron (13) Won gold for the 100m Breast 1:15.64 and the 200m Breast 2:44.44
Also won bronze in the 100m Back in a time of 1:08.20
Danika Huizinga (10) Junior Devilray Danika captured a gold medal in the 50m Fly with a time 36.14 that is a new club record 10 and under, she also captured 4th in the 100m Fly 1:22.44 setting a new club record.
