FOR A TRYOUT, EMAIL [email protected] __________________________________________________________ The Burlington Aquatic Devilrays (BAD) offer three swim programs: Pre-Competitive (Splash Rays), Development (Novice and Junior), and Competitive (Intermediate and Senior). Pre-Competitive (Splash Rays):
Swimmers must be 8 years old or younger and able to swim 25 meters unassisted without stopping to be eligible for a tryout. Development (Novice & Junior):
For swimmers aged 11 and under, the Development Program includes a tryout where participants will be asked to swim 25 meters of freestyle and backstroke. They may also be asked to demonstrate breaststroke and/or butterfly. Competitive (Intermediate & Senior):
Swimmers must have previous competitive swimming experience and be able to demonstrate endurance and technique across all four strokes. To be placed on the Tryout request wait list, please complete the following form. Tryout Request Form Our Membership Registrar will ONLY CONTACT THOSE THAT MEET ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS for groups with available space. Please be sure to keep an eye out for an email from [email protected] inviting your swimmer for a tryout. Please note that we receive a high volume of tryout requests and, unfortunately, cannot accommodate every submission. We appreciate your understanding and interest in our program. Priority will be given to Burlington Residents. |
